Enabling and accessing Insights on Root

Insights provides pre-configured dashboards that help you visualise and understand your organisation’s data. With dedicated views for Overview, Policies, Claims, Applications, Complaints, Payments, and Policyholders, you can easily track key metrics and performance indicators tailored to your role.

 

Granting Insights permissions

  1. Log into the Root Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Organisation icon in the blue menu bar on the bottom left of your screen.
  3. Navigate to Roles in the grey side menu and select the Role you wish to update.

  1. Scroll to the Insights permission. Here you can enable access to specific insights dashboards:

  • Overview Insights
  • Policies Insights
  • Claims Insights
  • Applications Insights
  • Complaints Insights
  • Payments Insights
  • Policyholders Insights
  1. Save your changes by clicking Update and then log out and back in to your organisation. (It is essential to log out and in again in order for the permissions to update correctly.)

Once these permissions are enabled, users with the corresponding role will be able to view the designated Insights in Data management.

 

Accessing the Insights Dashboard

Once the permissions are set:

  1. Log into your Root Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Data management icon in the blue menu bar on the left of your screen.

  1. Navigate to Insights. You will now see separate dashboards for the following Insights:
    1. Overview
    2. Policies
    3. Claims
    4. Applications
    5. Complaints
    6. Payments
    7. Policyholders
