Create data export templates with an AI Assistant

Use the AI Assistant in the Root Dashboard to quickly build new export templates.

  1. Log into the Root Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Data Management tab, the graph‑icon in the blue menu on the left, and navigate to Exports.
  3. To create a new Data Export Template, click on Actions, then choose Create template. This opens up the template builder where you can start defining your export.

  4. Fill in required fields and click Create
    • Export template name
    • Description
    • Data source
    • Product module

  5. The base of your template is set up, now click the AI Assistant in the top right corner of your screen to configure your template.

  6. Follow the on-screen prompt and select an existing policy to work with as an example while building your template. This helps the AI understand how to format the output.
  7. Next, ask questions and describe what you want as you would when talking to a colleague. Whether it's specific fields, filters, formatting, or logic rules, the AI will use these instructions to generate your template. 
     
    • For example you can ask it a question like: What type of information can I include in this export?

    • Here’s another example: Please give me columns with the policyholder’s personal details and contact info.

  8. Once the AI produces a draft, review it. If you're satisfied, hit Apply to implement it, and then export your newly created template. 

    Note: You can also give feedback if the response is not helpful by clicking the thumbs down button.

  9. You can rearrange and remove fields through the AI assistant or directly in the export template.
  10. Once you’re happy with your template, click Create.
