Getting to know your new Home dashboard

Your Home dashboard has a new layout. It's designed to get you to the record you need faster, whether that's a policy, an application, a claim, or a complaint. This guide walks through what's changed and how to use each part of the new homepage.

What's new at a glance

  • A personalised welcome header with quick actions for creating a claim or policy
  • One search bar across policies, applications, claims, and complaints, with advanced filters
  • An Activity panel that remembers what you've worked on and viewed recently
  • A redesigned notifications panel
  • A "What's New" feed so you always know about the latest platform updates

Your welcome header and quick actions

When you land on Home, you'll see a personalised greeting at the top of the page. To the right of it are two quick-action buttons:

  • New claim — opens the claim creation flow
  • New policy — opens the policy creation flow

These buttons are always available from Home, so you don't need to navigate into a specific module first if you know you want to start a new claim or policy.

Searching across your organisation

Below the header is a single search bar: Search across policies, applications, claims, and complaints. Type in a reference number, name, or other identifier, and results are pulled from all four record types at once instead of requiring you to search inside each module separately.

Narrowing your results with filters

Next to the search bar is a Filters button. Opening it gives you five filter fields you can combine:

  • Type
  • Product
  • Status
  • Source
  • Agent

Set the filters you need and select Apply filters to narrow your results, or select Reset filters to clear them and start again.

The Activity panel

Underneath search sits the Activity panel. It's collapsible — select the arrow in the top-right corner of the panel to expand or collapse it.

Inside, you'll find two tabs:

  • Worked on — shows changes you've made in the last 72 hours, so you can quickly reopen something you were partway through
  • Viewed — shows records you've recently looked at, even if you didn't make changes

This is designed to save you from re-searching for something you were just looking at a few minutes ago.

Notifications

Select the bell icon in the top-right corner of the screen to open My notifications

From here you can:

  • Toggle Unreads to show only notifications you haven't read yet
  • Select Mark all as read to clear your unread count in one go
  • Select Mark as read on an individual notification
  • Use the quick-action link on each notification (for example, Go to claim) to jump straight to the relevant record

Notifications are grouped so the most recent activity is easiest to find.

Staying up to date with what's new

Select the megaphone icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to open the What's New panel. This is a running feed of recent platform updates, each dated and tagged (for example, NEW), with a short description of the change and links to related help guides where relevant. It's worth checking periodically, especially after we release a feature you've heard about but haven't seen in your own workspace yet.

Switching environments

Here you'll see an environment selector next to your organisation name in the top-left corner. Select it to switch between Production and Sandbox environments. A coloured dot and tick indicates which environment you're currently in.

Navigating from the sidebar

The left-hand navigation stays consistent as you move around the platform, giving you one-click access to:

  • Home
  • Policies
  • Applications
  • Claims
  • Complaints
  • Policyholders
  • Payments
  • Reinsurance
  • Data
  • Workbench

Getting help

If you get stuck, select the Help button in the bottom-right corner of any screen to open support resources without leaving your current page.
