Edit your timezone settings

If you haven't set your timezone in your account settings, the date displays will default to your organisation's timezone. However, if your account settings timezone has been set, this will take precedence.

Even within the same organisation, users may have different default time zones based on their profile preferences or work requirements. Consequently, users in different time zones might see events occurring at the same universal time but reflected differently in their local time.

To edit your own timezone, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Root dashboard.
  2. Click on the ⏺⏺⏺ icon in the blue navigation bar in the bottom left side of your screen. 

  1. Click My account settings.
  2. Select Timezone.
  3. To  set it to the default timezone (that of the organisation):

  1. Click Default timezone
  2. To confirm, click Change to default.

  1. Or to update your own timezone:

  1. Click Edit timezone
  2. Select the new timezone and click Save.
