View the activity log on a complaint

Every complaint has an Activity log where updates of the activity that has taken place on the complaint is recorded.

To check the activity log on a policy, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Root dashboard.
  2. Click on the Complaints icon in the blue navigation bar on the left side of your screen. 

  1. Search for and click on the complaint that you want to edit.

You can search for the complaint by:

  • The complaint number.
  • The complainant's name.
  • The policyholder ID number

  1. You can then view the Activity log of a complaint on the right side of your screen. 
  2. Each activity includes:
  • The name of the activity
  • The date and time the activity occurred
  • The name of the user who triggered the activity

To view more details about an activity, simply click on it. This additional information includes:

  • A summary of the activity
  • The status and content of any notifications sent (email or SMS)
  • If a notification was sent to the complainant, you can view the email or SMS by clicking on either View Email or View SMS.
