Use address autocompletion to speed up the address capturing process during policy issuance, ensure accuracy of the address data, and enhance the customer journey both on the Root dashboard and Embed | Sales.

Note: Root is integrated with Fetchify for address autocompletion on the Root dashboard and Embed | Sales. Fetchify credits are not included in the Root fees and need to be purchased separately. |
To use this feature, you need a Fetchify account and Fetchify access token:
- Create a Fetchify Account purchase the required credits.
- Obtain your Fetchify access token:
Fetchify will provide an access token post-registration, which is needed to activate the address autocompletion feature on Root. - Include the domain of the Root stack you are using to the allowed domains of the access token. Example: app.rootplatform.com for the South African multi-tenant stack or app.uk.rootplatform.com for the UK multi-tenant stack.
- Save your changes.
Enabling address autocompletion
| Note: Address autocompletion needs to be enabled separately for your Sandbox and Production environment. The same access token can be used for both environments. |
Once you have created a Fetchify account and generated your Fetchify access token, follow these steps to enable address autocompletion for your organisation:
- Access the environment you want to enable address autocompletion for
- Navigate to Organisation > Features & add-ons > Address autocompletion
- Enable Address autocompletion for your selected environment
- Enter Your Fetchify access token
- Save your changes
Using address autocompletion
With Fetchify enabled, the address autocompletion feature will be active in the following areas:
- Root Embed | Sales
- Policy issuing flow on the Root Dashboard
As you input an address in the policy issuance form, Fetchify will suggest matching addresses based on your input. Select the appropriate address from the dropdown list to auto-fill the address fields accurately.
