Cancel a pending application

Pending applications can be cancelled directly from Dashboard. This is useful when an application is no longer needed or was submitted in error. Cancellation is permanent and cannot be undone.

Note: The ability to cancel applications is role-dependent. You will need the relevant application management permissions enabled on your role. Contact your administrator if you do not have access.

To cancel a pending application

  • Sign in to your Root dashboard.

Click on the Applications icon in the blue navigation bar on the left side of your screen.

  • Locate and click on the relevant Pending application.
  • Click the Actions menu at the top right of the application and select Cancel from the dropdown.
  • Select the reason for cancellation from the list provided.
  • Click Cancel application to confirm once the data has been populated. 
  • The application status will update immediately.
  • All changes/ cancellations are tracked in the activity bar on the left
