View the activity log on a policy

Every policy has an Activity log where updates of the activity that has taken place on the policy is recorded.

To view the activity log on a policy, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Root dashboard.
  2. Click on the Policies icon in the blue navigation bar on the left side of your screen. 
  3. Search for and click on the policy that you want to view.

  1. You can then view the Activity log of a policy on the right side of your screen. 

  1. Each activity includes:
    • The name of the activity
    • The date and time the activity occurred
    • The name of the user who triggered the activity
  2. To view more details about an activity, simply click on it. 

  1. Additional activity information includes:
    • A summary of the activity
    • The status and content of any notifications sent (email or SMS)

If a notification was sent to the policyholder, you can view the email or SMS by clicking on either View Email or View SMS.
