Reactivate a policy

To reactivate a policy, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Root dashboard.
  2. Click on the Policies icon in the blue navigation bar on the left side of your screen. 
  3. Search for and click on the policy that you want to edit.

  1. Click on the ellipses menu in the top right.

  1. Select Reactivate
  2. Select the reactivation type before proceeding, either Reinstatement or Recommencement.

  1. Once selected, click on Reactivate Policy.

Notes:

  • For a policy to be reinstated, all arrear premiums must first be paid.
  • For a policy to be recommenced, all arrear premiums will be deducted from the first claim income.
